Getting started

Install with /plugin install asana@claude-plugins-official
Run /asana-setup and create an OAuth app in the Asana developer console with redirect URL http://localhost:8080/callback
Add the Asana V2 server in your terminal with claude mcp add, then approve consent in the browser
Check /mcp shows asana as connected, then ask Claude to "list my Asana workspaces"

Before you install

The V2 server needs your own Asana OAuth app (a one-time setup); there is no zero-config connect. The V1 server shuts down on 5 Aug 2026.
